Meet the Pixiwoos

Posted by Lynne

British make-up artists and sisters Samantha and Nicola Chapman became a YouTube sensation with over 100.000 subscribers to their highly successful make-up channel Pixiwoo. They both have a wide experience in the beauty and fashion industry and are active members of the online beauty network, running their own beauty and make-up related web site which can be found at www.fashionface.tv. According to thousands and thousands of make-up enthusiasts online as well as the Metro Newspaper in the UK, their step by step Celebrity and Fashion inspired how-to videos are widely considered “the gold standard of make-up tutorials” and their work is indeed exceptional.

I had the pleasure to talk to the “Pixiwoos” at the IMATS in London and found them to be real professionals who really love what they do as well as highly talented and charming ladies, truly beautiful on the outside as well as on the inside.

Enjoy the interview!

I just recently discovered Sam and Nic’s video tutorial on make-up, etc. and I’ve been glued ever since. My day isn’t complete without watching their videos on YouTube…often viewing some videos more than once. I’ve learned a whole lot from these talented and wonderful ladies.
BTW, Nic mentioned in one of her tutorial videos (Christmas-ish velvety red lips) that she’s getting married in 2012…CONGRATULATIONS NIC!!!
